How much will it cost to connect to Uniworld’s for calls?
Transfer of call services is free of charge. You pay only for the calls you make at the tariff you choose plus line rental charges.
How do I proceed with transferring my business to Uniworld?
Simply complete an order form in conjunction with your local Uniworld Dealer or request one from our Customer Services team on 0845 458 4510.
Will there be any interruption to my telephone service during the change-over?
Your services will usually continue uninterrupted and the transfer of lines and calls services takes around 10 working days from the receipt of a completed order form. You are able to keep any existing BT phone lines and numbers.
Do I have to sign a long-term agreement?
Our standard term for Line Rentals and Calls is 12 months.
Who do I speak with if my usual contact is not available?
If your Account Manager is unavailable you will be automatically directed to a member of the same team.
Where do I find your tariffs?
Please contact your Account Manager or a member of our Sales Team directly on 0845 458 4510 or via e-mail.
What if I have Broadband on my line?
Transferring your line rental will not affect your existing broadband service and Uniworld provides a range of business grade broadband services if required.
What if I am in contract with my existing Service Provider?
You are advised not to break any existing contract (as penalties can be applied) but to review your contract first.
Will I lose any of the Select Services or features that BT offer?
We transfer all of these services on a like-for-like basis.
Can we convert our lines (e.g., from Analogue to ISDN)?
Yes, as long as the existing lines are compatible with the new service (charges may apply).
Will I continue to get a bill from BT?
If you remain with BT for line rental then you will continue to receive a BT bill for the lines and certain special services. If you ask Uniworld to provide your line rental, we will provide a single bill for calls and line rentals.
