BT Openreach was set up to manage the network of cables that connect customer premises with exchanges across the UK.

Communication Providers such as Uniworld purchase access products from Openreach and resell them based on the principle of equivalent access to the network.

WLR3 is the next development of the Wholesale Line Rental portfolio and is available to new customers.

It offers Uniworld a real time interface with BT Openreach via a new system known as the Equivalence Management Platform.

Whether we’re transferring lines, provisioning new ones or reporting faults, we will be able to submit orders via the EMP 24-7, 365.

• Pre-qualify orders, transfer lines & provision new ones
• Immediately check if a number is suitable for transfer to a new address whilst on the phone
• Rearrange analogue installation appointments ourselves in the event that a customer needs to cancel
• Conduct line tests for faults on analogue lines whilst the customer is on the phone
• Keep customers informed about the progression of orders & faults as we will receive regular updates from Openreach. 

• Temporary lines for exhibitions, events & construction sites
• Permanent lines for utility companies such as electricity sub stations and water treatment plants
