The work: Maintenance Switch Over to Standby Server

When: 19th August 2009

Start: 22:00 hours.

End: 23:00 hours

Services Affected: IP Direct Connect Customers

Technical Summary: SBC MSW 3/4 Hosting to the IPDC V1/V2 Service- Manual switch over of the SBC.

As part of the Maintenance process we need to spare over the SBC Cluster MSW3/4, hosting to the IPDC V1/V2 Service. The process is to stop the active side which will initiate the failover then to restart the previously active side.

Calls in progress will have approx 2 seconds of silence whilst the switch occurs. Calls in setup during the switch will need to redial.

Post Switch Over checks will be made to ensure all interfaces have recovered.
